A Poem

Someone commented a few days ago that they liked my poetry. They wanted me to publish more. Well, I thought I might have already published this one. Not sure. So, here it is (again?):

Bar Fight Flirtations.

Me, the contradiction.
Goodness tainted by desire,
Nervous, graceless brush with your silence.

And my pseudo-conversations
(That you found obnoxious).
my lost soul

Fleeing the numb exhaustion of rejection
Ravaged by desire,

Washed with sleep,
the little death,
Then stricken with more tragic love.

Drowning, only then to drift hopelessly away.
Unremembered.
